SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2022
Applicable to: Mariners operating in the East Johor Strait
The Singapore Airshow 2022 flying rehearsal and display will be held off Changi International Airport on the following dates and times:
2 A line of approximately 500m long line consisting of 5 floating platforms of 20m x 4m, will be deployed as demarcated in the attached chartlet (HY code AA1900322). The corners of each floating platform making up No- Go-Line will be lighted with safety lights at night. These platforms will be linked to each other via ropes with floats and anchored 80m -100m apart by 6 mooring points each. Each floating platform consists of stanchions of 1.2.m height and banners will be secured facing the Changi Exhibition Centre. The floating platforms will be placed in position from 09 Feb 2022 till 19 Feb 2022. Vessels are required to keep clear of these floating platforms.
3 For safety reasons, all vessels are required to keep clear of the sea area within a radius of one nautical mile (1852m) from the centre of the floating platform as demarcated in the attached chartlet (HY Code AA1909421) during the flying practice, rehearsal and display times as indicated above. MPA craft will be in attendance to direct vessel traffic.
4 Masters, owners and agents of vessels of 2,000 GT and above or with a height exceeding 30m above the waterline, are reminded of the requirement to comply with the VHF reporting procedures for vessels manoeuvring in the East Johor Strait.
