The Southern Islands of Singapore continue to be a draw card for those in search of more adventurous activities in Singapore. 2021 saw a number of new activities on St Johns Island and Lazarus Island including:-

– Pilot program for bike rental
– Opening of Bandara Bay research area by The Friends of Marine Park
– Ferries from Sentosa to Lazarus jetty
– Boating Boom sees triple of the amount of boats in the bays
– Community Rubbish Pick ups

Sentosa Development Corporation will continue their efforts to expand into the Southern Islands with low-impact leisure activities, a new bike rental kiosk will be located 400m the St Johns main pier, operating mostly on weekends and public holidays, the bike rental will offer a chance for visitors to reach some of the lesser visited parts of the 4 land-linked islands of St Johns, Lazarus, Seringat and Kias.
