The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was alerted to a collision between two pleasure craft off Pulau Hantu.

The incident took place on 2 March at about 1:30pm.
2. Five passengers had fallen overboard. Four passengers have been recovered safely and one remains missing.
3. MPA has deployed patrol craft to the area and is coordinating search efforts with assets from the Police Coast Guard and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
4. MPA is issuing navigational broadcasts to vessels in the vicinity to keep a lookout for any person in the water.
