Safe Management Measures For Pleasure Craft in Singapore Port – 26 April 2022
Maritime Port Authority has updated the following Safe Management Measures for Pleasure Crafts in Singapore Port which will take effect from 26 April 2022:
-
- Wearing masks is still required while the individual is inside enclosed space areas of the craft (e.g. saloons, cabins & etc), and strongly encouraged when an individual is not inside an enclosed area.
- No limit on group sizes onboard the craft. As group size limits are lifted, safe distancing will no longer be required between individuals or between groups.
- The licensed capacity of the craft must not be exceeded in all circumstances.
- SZH operators to ensure all parties comply with vaccinated – differentiated SMM. Passengers are required to be fully vaccinated before boarding the SZH- licensed pleasure craft.
- Stepping down on the use of Trace Together (TT) and SafeEntry (SE).
- Karaoke singing is allowed provided masks are on in an indoor setting.
There is no longer a Port Circular (PMC) published for the revision of a number of persons onboard pleasure crafts in Singapore. Instead, there is a Pleasure Craft SMM website link: (SMM measures for Pleasure Craft).
