NOVEMBER 10 – REVISION TO THE NUMBER OF PERSONS ONBOARD PLEASURE CRAFT IN THE PORT OF SINGAPORE

**HIGHLIGHTS**

This Port Marine Circular (PMC) supersedes PMC 37 of 2021 with effect from 10 Nov 2021.

All pleasure craft operators, owners and masters are reminded to ensure that they comply with the measures stipulated in the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, and implement these measures in relation to persons boarding and on the craft.

Gatherings of more than 2 persons* from different households** onboard any pleasure craft are prohibited with the following exemptions:

  1. a)  SZH-licensed pleasure craft activities; and
  2. b)  Marriage solemnisation onboard SZ-licensed pleasure craft.

* This limit of 2 persons does not include the master/crew employed (i.e. being paid a salary) to operate the craft and should at no time exceed the craft licensed carrying capacity.
** Household refers to individuals residing at the same address.

Owners/operators of SZH-licensed pleasure craft that intend to carry more than 1 group of passengers (i.e. more than 2 passengers from different households or more than 5 passengers from the same household***), for ANY activities are required to submit a one-time application for MPA’s review and approval.

*** The 5 persons from the same household must be fully vaccinated. The owner/operators of SZH- licensed pleasure craft must check the status of such individuals.

– Children aged 12 years and below do not have to be fully-vaccinated and do not require PET.
