Singapore Boating and Marine Tourism Flourishing

Singapore leisure marine activities at all time high
From yacht charters to kayak tours, jet ski rentals to coastal walks, Singapore is seeing an unprecedented demand for leisure marine activities. Monthly arrival of new yachts from leading boat dealers, as well as brokerage yachts being sold as soon as they are listed, some companies reporting a boat sale each week.
We have kicked off the monthly Singapore Marine Webinar Series, designed to highlight key achievements and challenges in the Singapore’s leisure marine community; the webinars will run every last Wednesday of the month and will involve the leisure marine trade operators and recreation enthusiasts.

 SINGAPORE BOATING IN THE MEDIA
With the Singapore Yacht Show postponed again, the industry needs all the media attention we can get. Channel 8 recently covered the growth of charter and yacht sales, we worked with the Singapore Tourism Boards and actress Fiona Xie to highlight marine activities in Singapore and a big congratulation to Sailor Ryan Lo and Windsurfer Amanda Ng who recently qualified for the Olympics.
On February 27th, we organised the second #boatersagainstplastic island clean up, a massive effort, we collected 144 bags of rubbish off Pulau Hantu. We had 2 very generous pledges of – $5 per bag collected – put forward before the event from The Heron of the Green Barrels (Thi-Lien and Paul Margaillan) and Andrew Trevett (MY Iris Rose). $1440 will be going towards the next #boatersagainstplastic island clean up
