Boaters Against Plastic Launch

Boaters Against Plastic – By Seven Clean Seas
at Pulau Hantu, 14 November 2020
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join Seven Clean Seas as we go offshore for our first Singapore Islands Cleanup with motor yacht(M/Y) MOANA leading the convoy supported by the Singapore Marine Guide!
About this Event:
Seven Clean Seas is an International Ocean Cleanup Organisation, based in Singapore!
We have removed over 70,000kg ocean plastic to date, employ cleanup crews in Indonesia and are developing and innovative River Cleanup Tech to stop plastic reaching the oceans in the first place.
Launching a new chapter out to the Islands of Singapore, we team up with M/Y MOANA and Singapore Marine Guide to bring you a day out on the Singapore Islands.
Due to Singapore’s COVID-19 restrictions, only those who have access to a vessel(Personal yacht, charter boat, jet ski or kayak) to transport them can participate.
THE PLAN:
Boaters can choose to go to any of these Islands – St Johns, Lazarus, Seringat or Pulau Hantu – all you will need to do is register online, collect your rubbish bags from ONE15, take a picture of yourself at the island cleaning up and bring the rubbish back to ONE15 to weigh your rubbish and collect your beverage voucher to be used at ONE15 restaurants.
8:30am – 12pm Registration and Rubbish bags
2pm – Final rubbish to be weighed
For boaters interested in Pulau Hantu, we recommend the following schedule to ensure you are there at the safest tide times.
8.30-9.00am: Register and pick up your rubbish bags from ONE15 Marina
9.30am: Boat Convoy arrives at Pulau Hantu and starts cleaning
11.30am: Depart Pulau Hantu back to ONE15
