They say 10% of fishermen, catch 90% of the fish, in other words, a good fishing guide and knowledge is key. Fishing in Singapore is incredibly popular, there are many designated shore fishing locations and a healthy range of off-shore fishing spots. Luckily, due to regulations on net and trawl fishing, the fish population is relatively strong in Singapore, don’t be surprised to see consistent catch reports of large grouper, coral trout, trevally, queenfish, and many types of bream.
Popular lagoons, tranquil beach setting, and fledged with hard-soft coral. Visitors go to see the famous wishing well and the Tortoise Sanctuary. Afternoon picnics on the island are also very popular, although no food or beverage service providers are situated on the island. A stand-alone open-air hawker center is located in the middle of the island but it is only open and running during certain periods of the year, such as during festivals or pilgrimages to the Keramat or the temple. No overnight stays are permitted on the island pond.

Berthing | Landing: Pleasure crafts can not dock at the jetty on the islands west, the best way to visit the island is to be dropped off or take a tender/paddleboard to the North entrance of one of the bays.
