Large boats and superyacht builders don’t normally have a local dealer, they will rely on brokers finding a client that is interested in an almost completely bespoke superyacht.
Yacht shows play an important role for the dealers to push their brands out to new boat buyers, most dealers and brands would prepare their stock boats for the Singapore Yacht Show one year in advance and heavily rely on the leads of the show to move their stock or at least purchase a similar boat from their brand.
