ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove to Launch Singapore’s 24/7 CIQ Service
From 1 September 2026, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove will introduce round-the-clock Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) clearance for pleasure craft and yachts.
The move will make ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove the first marina in Singapore to offer 24/7 CIQ clearance, giving boaters significantly greater flexibility when arriving in or departing Singapore.
Previously, immigration clearance at Singapore’s marinas has required boaters to plan passages around available clearance times. The introduction of a 24-hour service removes an important logistical constraint, particularly for yachts travelling between Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The new service has been developed in collaboration with Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), with operational and security arrangements put in place to allow vessels to clear immigration at any time while maintaining Singapore’s border security requirements.

Economic Benefits Beyond Recreational Boating
Beyond making life easier for recreational boaters, the introduction of 24/7 CIQ clearance is also expected to strengthen Singapore’s appeal as a regional stopover for transiting superyachts.
Many superyachts travelling between the Mediterranean, Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region already pass through Southeast Asia. Greater flexibility around arrival and departure times allows captains to plan passages around weather, tides and operational requirements rather than immigration office hours, making Singapore a more attractive port of call.
Each visiting superyacht brings significant economic value through spending on marina berthing, fuel, provisioning, engineering, technical services, chandlery, logistics, crew accommodation, hospitality and other marine support businesses. While some vessels may only stop for a short period, others remain for maintenance, refit preparation or crew changes, generating substantial business for Singapore’s marine industry.
A Major Improvement for Regional Boating
For Singapore boaters, the change could make cross-border cruising considerably easier.
Routes between Singapore and destinations such as the Riau Islands, Batam, Bintan and Malaysia are heavily influenced by weather, tides, daylight and journey times. Having immigration clearance available around the clock gives captains and boat owners greater freedom to plan their passages around boating conditions rather than clearance operating hours.
Six Months of Promotional CIQ Pricing
ONE°15 Marina will also introduce promotional CIQ pricing for the first six months following the launch.
Boaters will still need to follow the marina’s CIQ booking and documentation requirements. Current procedures require vessel information, registration and insurance documents, and crew and passenger details to be submitted in advance of clearance. (ONE15 Marina Club)
