SUTL Enterprise and Resorts World Langkawi have announced plans to develop ONE°15 Marina Langkawi, adding a major new marina to the established Singapore–Langkawi–Phuket cruising route.

SUTL Enterprise and Resorts World Langkawi, owned and operated by Genting Malaysia Berhad, have announced a strategic collaboration to develop ONE°15 Marina Langkawi, with the new marina expected to welcome its first yachts in the second half of 2027.

The development will feature more than 90 berths, including capacity for superyachts of up to 140 feet (approximately 43 metres).

Located at Resorts World Langkawi, the marina will provide new facilities for yacht owners, charter operators and visiting vessels, while giving guests direct access to the resort’s accommodation, dining and entertainment facilities.

Strengthening the Singapore–Langkawi–Phuket Cruising Route

The development is particularly significant for regional cruising.

Positioned on the Andaman Sea between Singapore and Phuket, Langkawi is already an important destination and stopover for yachts moving through Southeast Asia.

ONE°15 Marina Langkawi will sit within a growing ONE°15 regional network that includes ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore, ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island in Indonesia, ONE°15 Marina Desaru Coast in Malaysia and ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in Thailand.

SUTL Enterprise Executive Director and CEO Arthur Tay said the Langkawi development would help create a more connected cruising network across the region.

“Strategically located along the Andaman Sea, between our existing marinas in ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore and ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi will strengthen a natural yachting route for boaters to plan seamless cruising holidays across these connected destinations.”

For Singapore’s boating community, the addition provides another substantial marina destination within the wider Southeast Asian cruising network and strengthens the infrastructure available to yachts travelling north from Singapore towards Malaysia and Thailand.

Gateway to Langkawi’s Cruising Grounds

Langkawi’s 99-island archipelago provides an established cruising ground for private yachts and charter vessels, with sheltered anchorages, beaches and island-hopping opportunities.

The destination also benefits from international air connectivity, established tourism infrastructure and Malaysia’s duty-free status.

Once completed, ONE°15 Marina Langkawi is expected to offer access to private yacht charters, island-hopping excursions, sunset cruises and other marine experiences.

Growing ONE°15’s Southeast Asian Marina Network

The Langkawi project continues SUTL Enterprise’s expansion of the ONE°15 Marina network across Southeast Asia.

Each location is being positioned around a different marina and lifestyle concept: Sentosa Cove as its flagship Island Marina, Nirup Island as a Spa Marina, Panwa Phuket as a Social Marina, Desaru Coast as a Discovery Marina, and the new Langkawi development as an Explorer Marina.

The growing network is also significant for the broader development of boating in Southeast Asia. Greater availability of quality marina infrastructure between major destinations makes longer regional cruising more practical and helps support charter activity, marine services, yacht tourism and the movement of visiting yachts throughout the region.

ONE°15 Marina Langkawi is scheduled to welcome its first yachts in the second half of 2027.
