The Singapore Regatta 2022 is an initiative to revive the nostalgic competitive inshore Straits Regatta of the 1990s.

The Singapore Regatta is an initiative to revive the competitive inshore Straits Regatta of the 1990s. This inaugural race aspires to be a marquee sailing event in Singapore that will draw in skippers and crew from the region and perhaps worldwide.
Organisied by the Singapore Sailing Federation (SSF) in association with Changi Sailing Club (CSC) and Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC). The regatta will be a single passage race for the IRC and multihull classes covering approximately 57nm and the PY classes covering approximately 57km to commemorate the 57th year of independence of the Republic of Singapore. One design classes (SB20, Beach Catamaran and OBS Cutters) will have shorter passages to be described in the Sailing Instructions.
